Do they make after market universal fit rectifiers? What i'm worried about though is things like the rectifier, and some of those other parts that arent so easy to find. I can make a wiring harness, that's not a big deal. Anything that's been sitting in a barn for almost 40 years has got to be shot.Īs you said, parts are hard to find. One thing i'm pretty sure of though is that the electrical system is going to be shot. the fact it's going to snow this early in the year is very -very- strange. hopefully the snow will be melted by the time i go. They are complete conversion kits for points converted to electronic, which, given what you just told me, is strange considering gt is electronic already. I've emailed them asking about some of this but haven't heard back yet. In other words, since they don't make the newtronics points systems for the T500 specifically (so it seems), i wonder if the GT500 will fit. with that said, will a GT500's ignition physically fit in a T500's housing? haven't been able to locate an actual setup online. i've seen listings for them for T500's but. I see electronic ignition kits for the GT500's made by NewTronic. I wasn't positive if the GT and the T were the same motor or not.
